Windows 8 is very different and has been a bit of a learning curve but other than that, I am pleased so far with my purchase.

    Good performer for average home user

    Posted by: from LA, California on 02/22/2013Was attracted by a price of a package (tower + monitor) and by a positive reviews of others. Liked it for a few days for the fast performance and good look. Unfortunately, at the end of the week CD-ROM and cooling fan became very-very noisy (the sound making by CD-ROM was as loud as home vacuum...). Called Lenovo tech support and received from them 2 options: 1. wait for 3 days for tech who will come to my home and will try to resolve the problem, or 2. to bring it back to the store for return or exchange. Fast exchange was not available at the time I brought it back to BB and I decided to get rid of it and try something different (HP). I don't buy the PCs by dozens every month and I can't judge correctly the overall quality of products of this particular manufacturer. Generally, the PC is good (design, speed, features, etc.) and I hope you won't have problems with your machine. If any - fortunately Best Buy is always on your side!
